World Championship Yaoundé Cameroon from the 1st to the 4th of October 2026

A launch ceremony for the World Championship took place in Yaoundé on February 20, 2026, bringing together the president of the Cameroonian Nanbudo Federation, Justine Diffo, members of the organizing committee, and two members of the WNF Executive Committee: Komenan Kouassi, vice-president, and Jean-Jacques Jobin, treasurer. At this event, the championship anthem (available to listen to here) and its mascot were unveiled, two elements that will contribute to the visual and auditory identity of the event. The launch received significant media coverage, including appearances on Cameroonian national news channels.
